High Tide Meets Tranquil Textures

Hello Everyone ~ for my creation today High Tide Meets Tranquil Textures.

I went into a panic on Sunday.  I woke up and realized I have 2 weeks before I have to be out of the apartment.  I went down to the storage units and took some things to put in there.  I also picked up the bins I had emptied when I moved in and stored there.  Last night I started packing up some things that I won’t need.  Today I will be working on getting a mover set up so I can  move things out.  If I need to move them out early I can do that and then borrow a blow up mattress to sleep on until I get in the house or have to be out of the apartment.  I am more concerned about finding a mover as I will have to store my things for a bit. I hope I have good luck today.

I have a great masculine card for you today.  I borrowed a friend’s High Tide to play with and created several cards.  This was one of them.  I began by stamping the lighthouse using Real Red and Smokey Slate.  I added some sand using Crumb Cake.  Using the Layering Ovals I cut out the lighthouse.  I used the next largest oval to cut out an Early Espresso layer.  The 2 ovals were then layered.  I chose Tranquil Tide card base.  A piece of the Tranquil Textures designer series paper was cut a little smaller than the card base front.  Linen Thread was wrapped around the top of the designer series paper 3 times.  The designer series paper was then added to card base front.  I added dimensionals to the lighthouse oval and the oval was then attached to the center of the card base front.  To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment using Tranquil Tide, rounded the edges and added it over top the linen thread with dimensionals also.  Here is the completed High Tide Meets Tranquil Textures.
